Welcome to Week Six – it’s hard to believe how quickly this third term is racing by! This weekend, we herald the first day of Spring! Let’s hope this morning’s clouds and heavy rain pass by quickly, and that the sun peeps through for the children to enjoy as they go about their Friday together.
The P and F have hosted our wonderful Fathers Day Breakfast this morning. It was so very pleasing to see so many Dads and Grandfathers come along with their children to enjoy a delicious, complimentary breakfast and coffee! A huge thankyou to the co-ordinating team of Kindergarten and Year Four mothers who have spent many hours preparing with Nerissa Richardson to provide a successful gathering. These ladies have been well supported by many additional “worker bees” who have contributed all that goes with a shared meal and hungry folks! The addition of some very classic automobiles to a display on the oval, added some “grunt and muscle” to a day planned for all of our special dads, uncles, grandparents and carers in our families – we are truly blessed here at Sacred Heart, to have such capable and willing helpers- on behalf of the School Community, we thank you!
