Principal News Term 3, Week 6

Welcome to today’s Newsletter– Wasn’t our special 2023 Book Week Parade a wonderful way for us all to commence this week, we look forward to ending it, with our special Visiting Author, Ms Tracey Dembo in the Library today, after the fabulous Beaufort St Books Book Fair on Monday of this week.

Thank you to all our parents for their commitment to costumes and for joining us as the children proudly paraded around our School Hall for all to enjoy! Of course, our teachers have spent many hours ensuring activities related to this year’s finalists in the CBCA, have been enjoyed and explored within classrooms and with buddies.

Our Parade was once more, hosted by Ms Byrne-King- or was it the “Lorax”. Let’s hope our boys and girls remain excited about reading and exploring new books for many years to come.

The progressive and hard work undertaken this year by our committed Library sub-Committee has seen some fabulous contributions to this space, ensuring it is now so well-resourced,  and inviting to all students- We are all very grateful as a staff, and excited to be so well supported by you as parents,  as your work to invigorate our Library has been such a success-Great work everyone!
