Principal News Term 3, Week 2
Welcome everyone to the second week of our new term together. I’m sensing you’ve all returned from July’s winter holidays with enthusiasm as our students and staff alike continue with their tasks and learning so excitedly. The solid couple of weeks’ rest renewed our combined energies, and we’ve returned to Term Three with some eagerly awaited events planned, including last night’s outstanding 2023 Night of the Notables, our upcoming Athletics Carnivals, Year Five Camp, the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation, our commitment to Book Week, Science Week, Interschool Spelling Bees, and Chess tournaments-These occasions are all presented as chances for us to continue to “Strive for Excellence”.
Our boys and girls continue to look smart and well-groomed in their Winter Uniform items, and the move to a new provider has to date, been met with positivity. Parents are reminded that the winter jacket, whilst not a compulsory item, does provide an extra layer of warmth, but is not to be worn instead of a tracksuit jacket or red School jumper, but in addition to these items.
