Principal News Term 2, Week 2
Welcome to Week Two and the first of our Newsletters in this, our new term together! I do hope that our recent Autumn and Easter holidays have been enjoyed by all and that there were many chances for rest, recreation and recovery, including a few later-than-normal starts, and some days where pyjamas had a slightly extended presence- mine certainly did! The coming weeks will see many chances for Cross Country Training to be undertaken, and of course, Run Club and Choir continue- a special thank you to parents who assist their children to participate in these great preparatory experiences. We are very grateful that our students are keen to apply their effort and hard work in preparing for performances.
We were all delighted that Sacred Heart Primary School was able to welcome our students back to school last Wednesday. Our boys and girls have commenced the new term at Sacred Heart in their full Winter Uniform, looking very smart and wearing their items with pride. Parents are reminded about our School Uniform guidelines.
Please ensure your children are wearing their correct school socks, and black leather school shoes, not black sports shoes instead of the required black leather lace-up school shoes on non-sports uniform days. School shirts are to be worn tucked in, and with the top button fastened to accommodate the school tie correctly. Parents are asked to attend to incorrect items before children receive a uniform notice.
