Sacred Heart Christmas Appeal

We would like to thank the families and staff members of Sacred Heart for the very generous contributions to the 2021 Vinnies Christmas Appeal. The generosity of our community was overwhelming. The Pastoral Care Council students sorted, boxed and help load donations into the Vinnies van last week.  Thank you for reaching out to help families in need within our community.

Christmas Concert and Awards Night 2021

Our end-of-year Christmas Concert and Awards Night took place last Friday night. It really was a wonderful community celebration. We do need to acknowledge the hard work by all of the staff in preparing the students for this evening. Special thanks to Mrs Laura Taylor and her Year 1 students for their beautiful presentation of the Nativity, and Mrs Deanna Saraceni for her amazing choreography, planning and preparation of the Broadway Spectacular Concert items. What talent! Thank you to our families for their attendance. What a proud night to belong to Sacred Heart!

Year 6 Graduation Assembly, Mass and Dinner Thank you

On Wednesday evening our Year 6 students graduated from Sacred Heart Primary School. The day began with a special Year 6 Assembly. In the evening, a special Graduation Mass took place at Sacred Heart Church followed by a formal dinner for the graduates and their parents. The Graduation Dinner was prepared by the current Year 5 parents, who we give immense thanks to them for their time, efforts and wonderful organisation, in particular to the Graduation Co-ordinator Camila Machado and her team of fabulous helpers. We also extend thanks to Ms Byrne King,

Mrs Wyre and Mr Moore for preparing the students for this very special event. We wish all our Year 6 Graduates a wonderful future as they commence their secondary school journey. Congratulations to the Class of 2021!

End of Year Thanksgiving Mass

On Friday morning, we celebrated the conclusion of another school year and farewelled our leaving students and staff at a very special Thanksgiving Mass. We wish all our leaving families and staff members the very best as they continue their journeys.

Wishing all of the Sacred Heart Community a Happy and Holy Christmas

We conclude by thanking all members of our school community for their contribution and continued support to our school in 2021 to ensure a very successful year. We look forward to working with you all again in 2022 and may you and your families have a blessed Christmas. Sport Notices

What a wonderful end to this active year.

Our Year Six students have finished their sporting time at Sacred Heart Primary School with a punch and a kick!

Callum from ATI Martial Arts has taken the students through their Taekwondo paces.

Students have learned respect, discipline, self-defence and even Korean!

The Pre-Primary to Year Five students have volleyed and hit forehands over the tennis nets.

Sam from Bayswater Tennis Club has taught the students about striking the ball with control and aiming for space.

There is also an exciting opportunity for the students to continue their tennis experience over the Summer Holidays.

This could be a wonderful practise opportunity for the current Year Four and Five students who will be straight into playing a tennis tournament against other Catholic Schools in 2022.

Bayswater Tennis Club have 5 weeks of school holiday clinics in December and January.

Contact Anthony on 0400 64 33 55 or for details.

Have a safe and active holiday.
