Semester One Reports

Semester One Reports (PP-Year 6) will be issued to parents online via SEQTA on the last day of this term (Friday, 3rd July).


Term 3 Parent-Teacher Interviews: Pre-Primary to Year 6

A reminder for parents to book a Term 3 parent-teacher interview (before the end of this term) via the School Interview Link, which was recently sent to parents. The interviews will take place in the first few weeks of Term 3 (Week 1 for Years 3-6 and Week 2 for Pre-Primary-Year 2). These interviews are a formal part of the school’s reporting process and must be attended (by one parent).


School Photo Day: 26 August 2020

Due to COVID, School photos have been rescheduled to Wednesday 26th August. Information for ordering school photos will be sent home with your child in early Term 3. Please remember that the correct Winter school uniform, including the red jumper and tie, must be worn on Photo Day.


The Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Last Friday, we spent a wonderful day celebrating the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The day began with a very special classroom liturgy celebrated in the classrooms. Throughout the day, our students had a lovely time participating in several Feast Day activities, which culminated in a special Sausage Sizzle Lunch. We would like to thank the staff and the Year 6 Pastoral Care Council for their assistance and involvement in the preparation of this day. We hope that the students had a wonderful day!


Term Break

We hope that all the families have a wonderful break together and spend some time re-energising. We wish you a safe and happy holiday break and look forward to seeing you all in Term 3 when school commences on Tuesday 21st July.  Thank you for your ongoing support.

Here are the Sacramental Programs for the remainder of the year. Parents of students in the Sacramental Programs are requested to mark the important dates in their diaries.


Special Congratulations

Congratulations to Evie Stewart in Year 6 who has been offered a place in the Gifted and Talented Languages program for 2021 at Mt Lawley Senior High School.

Well done Evie, a great achievement.


Lunch Orders

Our school canteen has resumed canteen services for Term 2. Please note the canteen is CLOSED ON TUESDAYS.

Due to COVID, all canteen orders need to be placed online.

Finance News

Financial Statements, including 2020 Fees and Charges as well as any other previous outstanding charges, were emailed to all families/carers/guardians last week.  Statements are only emailed to one parent/carer/guardian and in most instances, this would be the mother (unless otherwise advised to the office) or in the instance where families are separated, to both parties.  Should you not have received any email containing the Annual Fee Statement please could you advise Linda Robertson at immediately to ensure that you are emailed a copy of the Statement. 

These statements act as both a reminder of fees outstanding as well as a receipt for fees already paid.  Should you already have a direct debit in place, no further action is required on your behalf if your payments are up to date.  For those families that pay via Bpay, please could you ensure that the payment plan you committed to is up to date.  Please note that direct debit agreements are required to be renewed at the beginning of each year, and therefore any prior direct debit agreements would not have been carried over from the previous year.

If you have not paid any fees to date, please could you do so imminently to ensure that we can accurately budget and provide the necessary resources for your children’s needs and learning.

Sport News

Sport starts new in Term Three! Thank you for your patience and understanding in regards to the difficult circumstances in Term One and Two and the need to postpone some events. Please see below for the proposed dates for upcoming carnivals.

  • *Sacred Heart Athletics Carnival – September 1 (Tuesday, Week 7, Term 3) @ Birdwood Square
  • Athletics Training – Beginning Week 2, Term 3- Tuesday before school (field) and after school (track)
  • Interschool Athletics Carnival – September 24 (Thursday, Week 10, Term 3) @ WA Athletics Stadium
  • *Interschool Athletics Training – September 10 & 17, Term 3 @ WA Athletics Stadium
  • *Sacred Heart Cross Country Carnival – October 15 (Thursday, Week 1, Term 4) @ Hyde Park
  • Cross Country Training – During Physical Education classes Week 9 and 10, Term 3. Training sessions during the school holiday period @ Hyde Park
  • Interschool Cross Country Carnival – October 30 (Friday, Week 3, Term 4) @ Dianella Reserve, Light Street. 
  • *Summer Lightning Carnival – End of Term 4 (Year 5 and 6)
